With reference to your letters of the 6th and 20th Instant, relative to the boundary of Military Cantonments in Victoria, Hongkong, and to the correspondence which accompanied your first named communication on this subject, I am directed to acquaint you for the information of the Earl of Carnarvon, that Lieutenant General Peel will at once take steps
to ascertain the probable extent of land
